Stop me if you’ve heard this one: two librarians, and a choir boy walk into an Irish bar, and shave their heads – to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research.

Clare Rauch, a medical librarian, and her nephew Will shaved their heads in 2012, and three years later they’re doing it again. This year they’ve recruited one of Clare’s co-workers , Michelle Bergquist, also a librarian.

As librarians at the Upstate Children’s Hospital in Syracuse, they’ve seen the toll childhood cancer takes on everyone involved, and want to do what they can to help out. Consider donating $5, $10, or $25 even the smallest donation amounts add up.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
