Shorian Week!

Join the team!! Click on the "JOIN US" blue button above and Sign up to volunteer, shave your head or donate money to our St. Baldrick’s event at Buffalo Wild Wings on October 13th.

Each day, 42 families in the United States will hear the words “your child has cancer.” Shorian Week will make it easier than ever for you to join the fight. 2018 marks the inaugural fundraiser as Lake Shore High School will dedicate an entire spirited week to raising money for Childhood cancer research.

Shorian Week officially starts Monday, September 10th and ends Friday, September 14th. It will become an annual event, and we believe it will grow into something very amazing!

“Although this is our first year for this initiative, I am confident that our school community will step up and make this an ongoing remarkable program. We intend to incorporate every sport and group at the high school. There is no doubt that teamwork will make the dream work”. John Hartley - Athletic Director, Lake Shore High School

All proceeds collected will benefit childhood cancer research through our very own St. Clair Shores St. Baldrick’s event on Saturday, October 13th.

Hartley added… “Shorian Week is a time to reflect on those who have been lost, those who are fighting, and those who have survived in the past, present, and future. It’s a time to take a stand against childhood cancer.”

How can you get involved?

• Make sure that you pick up your 2018 Shorian Week tee-shirt. They’re available in the lobby during lunches or in the athletic office at Lake Shore High School for $15. Only $12 for students!! Your shirt grants you free admission into all home Lake Shore athletic games from September 5th through September 14th!

• Come support the Varsity Volleyball home game on Tuesday, September 11th and the Varsity Football game on Friday, September 14th wearing your Shorian Week tee-shirt. The State Champs! Sports Network has agreed to make the Varsity Football game its game of the week and will have their entire TV crew out at the game on Friday!
