Hi I'm Izzy & I am11 years old and I am shaving my head for cancer. The funny thing is when I was younger I always thought if I were bald that would be insane. Well here I am on March 14, 2015 I am shaving my head!

I have quite a few reasons to do so. About a year ago one of my best friends had a problem with her hair and this problem was making it fall out. Now this wasn't a big deal except she was getting teased about it because the people who were making fun of her thought she had cancer, when she really didn't. I mean even if she did that’s still wrong. Now at first I thought she REALLY DID have cancer! And that scared me, so I freaked out a little. But luckily she didn't have cancer and life was good. I have had close family members and a couple of my parent’s friends have had cancer so I want to contribute to them some way. Soo I figure, why not shave my head.

YES, I am shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
