Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Team Schmolivbarr

For the 6th year in a row, TEAM SCHMOLIVBARR is a highly dedicated, loving group of friends and family devoted to doing our part to raise funds to help get rid of childhood cancers. We have experienced every level of emotion that comes with this devastating illness. EMILY BARR, SURVIVOR: Age 19, is currently a freshman at Loyola University in Chicago, IL, studying to be a pediatric oncology nurse. Diagnosed with Wilms Tumor at age 2, Emily is a 17 year survivor! Our beautiful, intelligent, loving, caring and heroic niece continues to inspire all of us. LANDEN RUSH, ANGEL: Gained his angel wings on June 29, 2012 at age 4. "We love you to the moon and back, Landen." On 11/29/11, Landen was diagnosed with Stage 4 Anaplastic Medullablastoma. He underwent treatment in St. Louis and was a patient at St. Judes Research Center in Memphis, TN before returning home with his loving mama, Deon, to gain his angel wings while in her arms at home. Landen, in his short time with us, showed us what courage really is. We continue Landen's legacy by the symbol of the yellow butterfly, which you will find on everything Team Schmolivbarr. ZAC GOSSAGE, IN REMISSION AND TREATMENT: Age 7, an awesome 2nd grader at Central Elementary School in Union, MO! Diagnosed on June 15, 2013 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Zac is doing very well with his treatments, with his last expected treatment to be August 23, 2016. Zac continues to do well in school and is looking forward to being a teacher when he grows up! The artwork that symbolizes TEAM SCHMOLIVBARR 2015 was created by our very talented Zac! He painted it last year for St. Baldrick's and you can see it displayed at Helen Fitzgerald's. Please help us continue to, honor Emily, remember Landen and fight for Zac (and all the kiddos) by supporting TEAM SCHMOLIVBARR and ST. BALDRICK'S. We thank you for your continued love and support and encourage you to be a part of us whether its shaving, donating, praying or all of them!
