Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

I've been curious what it would be like to shave my head for a long time now. There are plenty of excuses I've made not do it but I found out about St. Baldrick's and decided to go for it. I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! I'm also going to donate my hair to Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for kids who loose their hair. The best part is Devon wants to be a part of it too. He came up with the name The Cancer Fighting Team and we will be at Creek Monkey this Saturday afternoon shaving our heads. Come on out and see us! There will be live music and activities for kids too.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I decided I knew plenty of people to raise $200 dollars in the next two days.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
