We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

We've been shaving our heads for many years now. Each year when we sit down to personalize this message, we are amazed at how many people we know that are impacted by cancer. This year, we are sad to say that Trent's Grandmother, Marietta Huggard, has been diagnosed with cancer. We are shaving in her honor this year! Although she is not a child, she is an example for children and people of all ages. She is currently undergoing chemo treatments on a regular basis. We know it is tough for her but she never complains. She never feels sorry for herself and she has the most positive attitude. According to Trent, Gramcracker is the most active Grandmother in the world - she attends all of his sporting events in the summer, travels the world in her spare time and continues to teach and play bridge (a difficult card game). While her cancer has slowed her down for the last few months, we are confident that she'll be back to her old self by the end of the summer. Please everyone say a prayer for Gramcracker and donate money for childhood cancer research.
