Over the past year a BCFD brother and his family have supported their son as he engaged in a battle with cancer a fight for his life. He had his ups and downs but despite his long term outcome we need to continue the fight for him. Our battle is the battle for a cure and hopefully one day early detection and ultimately prevention. As of this time (11/18/13) he is winning his battle. This is not always the case! Often we hear of innocent children and loved adults that have been diagnosed with cancer and we say let me know if I can help, well this is what you can do to help. YOU can be a shavee, YOU can donate, YOU can volunteer at the event, and YOU can be a shaver. So let’s join together and shave to stop the "C" word from being spoken.
