All being Firefighters we do are job helping others everyday and loving to do it. Something we all had in mind was how do we help someone who isn't in our district. Doing this event seemed to be the best way to do so. We want to do everything we can do to help fight childhood cancer. Children should be worrying about playing with there friends and having fun, not worrying about therapy and if this disease will go away. Our team name DPT stands for Duty, Pride and Tradition which is something we learned in our fire science classes we took in high school. Duty is Doing it, Pride is wearing it, and Tradition is living it. We are doing or duty to help others, wearing the pride of being bald from helping kids, and Tradition is living up the day and to continue to for the following years to come. We hope to do all we can to help out children.
