Hello all Arvada West Alumni's, I am Trista Cook A-West Alumni 1998 and I have lost many friends to cancer as well as have had family members who are cancer survivors. The hardest for me though was watching my Daughter have to go through the loss of a classmate Annie Drush. Annie Drush lost her battle to brain cancer very shortly after finding out she had it. She was only 8years old when her life was taken. My daughter was the strongest in her class when the news was told. even through the tears and sobs she got up with her teacher and hand out tissues and gave hugs. Every year we walk in the Cancer Realy for the American Cancer Society in Lamar Colorado and when I heard the event going on at Arvada West not only did I want to donate but I also wanted to help out and be a volunteer. I will be cutting hair at the event Friday March 12th. and I hope you can come join my team, and if you can't make it you can always donate. Thanks for all your help, Trista Cook
