Buck's Barn is a free shopping event for all the patients at Dell Childrens Hospital in Austin, Texas. It allows all of the children at the hospital and oncology clinic to come and do their Christmas shopping for their family members. I thought of the idea after I was diagnosed with AML and had a cord blood transplant in 2006. I was in the hospital and couldn't do any Christmas shopping and did not want that to happen to any other kids. Now I am branching out and creating a team to raise money for childhood cancer research. Come on, everyone looks good bald, you know you want to shave your head. If your head is misshapen and you can't be bald, just donate large sums of money instead. Look for my dunking booth at the fair. Thank you. Buck (16 years old)
