Team Lexi is in Honor of Lexi Tullmann-- 3/23/94-4/8/07 we are honoring her because she is an awesome roll model--Lexi never ever (not once) asked WHY she was the one that had the brain tumor. She asked only one thing---When will I feel better? She stated, "God must have given me the recurrent tumors because He knew I could handle them." Lexi thought her best characteristic was that she was "STRONG WILLED" and that she NEVER gave up! Her greatest accomplishments were that she had: 8 brain surgeries, 33 radiation treatments, mutiple rounds of chemotherapy, 60 MRI's, numerous CT scans, 100's of needle sticks etc. all while she continued to play select soccer (until January 2006) and attend school (until early/mid March 2007) She loved to play soccer, texting on her cell phone, riding 4-wheelers, water skiing, tubing and boating, haning out with her family and her friends, reading jumping on the trampoline, playing poker(neighboorhood champ), and her favorite-- shopping at the mall. We are shaving our heads in honor of Lexi, her courage and her strength she showed to all of us during her courageous battle with cancer.
