C ompassion, H onesty, I nspiration, P rayer, S tewardship Chips Cronen lived his acronym to the fullest, so fittingly, the St. Baldrick's Day fundraiser for childhood cancer research held a special place in his heart. In 2003, he dedicated himself to this exceptional cause, but since the idea was relatively unknown and Chips' computer skills were absolutely anemic his lofty fundraising goals were never achieved. On July 3, 2007 while riding his bike, Chips was tragically killed by an inattentive driver; leaving a brokenhearted widow and five grieving sons. To honor their father and complete his St. Baldrick's fundraising dream, Chips' sons their friends are dedicating themselves to St. Baldrick's Day 2008 and vowing to raise more money than Chips ever dreamed possible.
