Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Creason's for a Cure

My name is Amy Creason and I'm thrilled to be shaving my head this year with my beautiful family!  I've been the Volunteer Event Coordinator (VEO) for 10 years and this will be my third time Going Bald For The Cause.

My husband Brandon has been apart of this event since its conception in 2007 at Finnigan's Wake.  While he might not have much hair to shave, he'll have a heck of a beard by September.

Our sons, Presley (8) and Bowie (4) have grown up with this event and know how important it is to fight for a cure.  I told them when they were ready, they could get on stage and shave with me.  They decided this year was the perfect year to do it.

We wake up everyday thankful for the health of our children.  We know at any moment that could be taken from us and that is why we fight.  No child should have to trade play dates for hospital visits.  No parent should have to standby and watch their child suffer because funding isn't available to save their lives.

That's why we stand with the St. Baldrick's Foundation and we stand with every child battling this relentless disease.
