St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research in the U.S, working to research cures to childhood cancer. Join us at the 2024 Boulder High School St. Baldrick’s Event to have some fun – and be a hero for kids with cancer!

How can I sign up?

Contact ryan.oblock@bvsd.org with questions on how to get involved!

Boulder High School has hosted a St. Baldrick's fundraiser for the past six years, raising more than $376,000 from donors. Anyone can donate to help support children needing treatment in our own community.

Each March we host an event to raise funds for the cause. There will be games, activities, and of course, head shaving!

Last year, BHS participants and donors raised over $93,000. This year, we are hoping to raise above $100,000. The average cost to treat a child on a clinical trial is $10,000. Using our money that we have raised in the past, it is estimated that we have been able to help about 376 families to pay for their children’s clinical trials. We hope to provide more families with the hope for treatment this year.

It is estimated that there will be more than 16,000 children under the age of 20 diagnosed with cancer this year alone. Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer to raise money another way, or make a donation, please join us to give kids with cancer the support and opportunities they deserve.

Thank you for your support and generosity!
