Angel's Watching Over Me

Hello! My name is Angel Mosher and I'm fundraising for and shaving my head in support during the 12th annual St. Baldrick's IRC Braves the Shave event.

As a leukemia survivor myself, it is a big miracle to be able to devote energy/effort into giving back to organizations that helped families like mine.

I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in March 2001. I was treated with chemotherapy until May 2003. Salah Foundation Children's Hospital Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic at Broward Health Medical Center cared for me as a patient and I was last seen there in January 2013 and was found in continuous remission.

I grow my hair out wholly for the sake of others. Since childhood cancer took away my ability to grow it during my early years, I devote the long locks to those who endure similar battles. Wigs For Kids and Locks of Love are two organizations that have received my hair donations five or six times now.

Thankful for support from my family, friends, St. Baldrick's, and all of you!
