Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

For the last two years, Kelly Ann & I completed two Long Island Disc Golf tournament's in the 4th & 5th Annual Thrive & Survive Charity Tournament! This event was used as a charity event to raise money for the St. Baldricks Foundation. Together last year, through the website links and the cash donations, we raised over $1,300!!! The year before we achieved our personal donation goal and raised a total of $330 online and an additional $50 in cash donations for a total of $380. You guys blew us away with your generosity and support.

We wanted to give a special thank you to all of you who helped us crush our goal both years in contributing towards LIDG’s fundraising goal. The club also smashed its $5,000 goal in 2018 followed by our LIDG 2019 which had a goal of $10K resulted in raising over $15,000.

We could not have completed our goal and the goal of the club without all of your help both financially and spiritually!

And as luck would have it, even though the event is later in the month this year, it will still be taking place the day after my birthday gathering! We will need to arrive at 7:15am for check in at Heckscher State Park. To play the events two rounds means we will be walking over 12.5 miles! Hopefully, the weather will be more cooperative than last year's cold and wet day, but we know that is nothing in comparison to what some of these children have to experience and go through every day.

Now we need your help again this year! We are competing again for our third year and striving to not only Thrive & Survive but also to place! We hope to raise $500 individually to help contribute to our clubs 2020 goal of $20K in 2020, and if you choose to, you can donate to either as we are fundraising as The Keenans this year.

Will you help us reach our goal by making a donation? No amount is too small. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I'd say to keep us in your prayers so we survive another year, but send them straight from your lips to the man upstairs for the kids!
