Broad Ripple Haverford Little League is proud to be participating in our third annual "Brave the Shave" event. We are out to exceed the $100,833 we raised together in 2017!

A bit of background: We are doing this to honor one of our own, Jack Klein. Jack started playing baseball in our Rookies league and was with us every year until the spring of 2015 when he was diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma and began treatment. His siblings, Ali and Matthew have been part of BRHLL for years and he made many friends along the fences watching big sister and brother play ball. Jack passed away in February 2016 after a 10 month fight and our community is coming together to honor him and other casualties of childhood cancer. Unfortunately, Jack was the one in five children diagnosed with cancer that don't survive. St. Baldrick's is devoted to changing that statistic and to improving the quality of life of childhood cancer survivors and the often brutal toll the treatments can take in the long-term. All funds raised will go to St. Baldrick's in the everlasting hope that they can spur research to save children from this awful disease.
