We, the Rookies Vermont Lake Monsters, are shaving our heads or braiding our hair to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Some of us Lake Monsters have a friend that is battling cancer now or have a friend that has successfully reached remission. And some of us, sadly, have lost a buddy to cancer already even though we're not more than 6 years old. This includes Jack Klein, in whose honor this event is being held. Our photo gallery at bottom profiles some of these friends.

We think cancer stinks and now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. We accept any size donation with open hearts!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
