Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Super Lucy

Team SUPER LUCY will be participating in the St. Baldrick's Event for Childhood Cancer, an inspiring and fun event raising money for childhood cancer research. As many of you are aware, our daughter, Lucy Rose, was diagnosed with a brain tumor on December 11, 2015. One month later, Lucy underwent brain surgery to biopsy the tumor. She is recovering incredibly well and is back to her happy, playful self.
Lucy had her follow up MRI February 25th and unfortunately we discovered that her tumor has grown. Lucy will begin chemotherapy on Friday March 4th. As you can imagine, this was devastating news, but Tim and I are continuing to stay positive and are confident that with treatment Lucy will overcome this.
We have already seen the impact St. Baldrick's has in educating parents of children undergoing this and similar treatments. Lindsey and I have felt helpless at times because as much as we wish we could, we can't control anything about this path for Lucy. But we've realized we CAN make a difference. What we CAN do, is rally support and much-needed funding for research, which is where YOU come in.  Please support this cause in honor of our super baby, SUPER LUCY!!  THANK YOU in advance for your support of our efforts on behalf of SUPER LUCY and all patients, their families, and the researchers pursuing the breakthroughs.
