Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

Macen mattered to me and so many others. He was my son's best friend for several years and his parents and family are still dear friends. Macen taught me and so many what real courage and love look like. I want to honor his legacy by volunteering to be a "shavee" in this year's St. Baldrick's event in Rio Rancho, NM. Although I am already follicularly challenged, I will still miss my hair but count it as a small sacrifice to raise funds for kids fighting cancer! Can you think of anything more important than saving the life of a child? I think you'd be hard-pressed to do so. Plus, you get to see me get my head shaved! I'll try to live stream the event (although cellular coverage is spotty in the venue) or will post/send the video to all my donators.

And what’s even better than shaving your head to give hope to kids fighting cancer? Coming together as a team to raise more money!

This is the 25th year of St. Baldrick’s raising funds for research to find cures for kids with cancer. And while great progress has been made, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive.

Please join us or support our team with a donation that will fuel critical discoveries, develop new treatments, and save lives. Any amount, large or small, counts toward the goal.

Together, we can accelerate the next 25 years of cures for kids with cancer!
