When Little Lambs Academy was still in the "dreaming phase" as wise man told us in order to make things happen and really make a difference you have to be willing to "Roll Up Your Sleeves and Open Up Your Wallet." Sometimes you have to do something BIG to make a difference! Little Lambs Academy is proud to come alongside this organization and one of our local LLA mothers, Gloria Darmanin, who is coordinating the event, to raise funds for childhood cancer research.

We cherish each day and know that life and good health of our children is a gift, and want to support many local families who have a child with or have lost one to cancer. Let's show them what kind of a community of parents and caregivers we are by setting a goal and asking others to come alongside and help meet this goal. Sometimes it is overwhelming knowing where to give. There are so many places that could use support or donations... but we have seen and heard about too many children (right here in our local area) suffering from childhood cancer. $5, 10, 15 dollars may not seem like a lot...but when you are a community... every little bit can add up to a great amount.

Just like it takes a community to raise a child.... this community can help make children's lives better and longer.

We will be having Beyond School Bake Sales and you can donate here or in Little Lambs and will also be matching donations up to $1000. Our Fundraiser Thermometer will be up in the main hallway, so we can all cheer along and watch as we get closer to our goal!

If we reach our goal of $1000 - we will both be shaving our heads. (see why) http://www.stbaldricks.org/be-a-shavee
