After learning about the St. Baldrick's Foundation I was motivated not to just donate but to be proactive in the process of raising funds to help continue the work that this organization has been doing. Unfortunately my family is very aware of the suffering this disease causes and I just recently lost my grandmother to liver cancer. Although I have no personal experience with childhood cancer this cause has struck a chord in my heart and has encouraged me to get hands on with this group and with these brave children. The St. Baldrick's Organization has had over 2,400 "shave your head, save a kid" events since 2000 and has shaved over 107,000 heads all over the world as well as in 50 U.S. states. $80,000 was raised last year and with your help we hope to raise even more to help these innocent children who have been struck with such a devastating disease. So please talk to your friends, family, and maybe even some strangers and help me collect a record breaking amount of money and come on out to watch me reveal all the surprises hidden by my thick, lucious head of hair. Thank you all for all your selfless support.
