Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

We have answered the call to be heroes or objects of derision and/or scatological humor! Take your pick.

The Bachmann boys -- that includes myself, Max (age 12), Gus (age 8) and their Uncle Eric (my twin) have teamed up to have our heads shaved –YIKES! on March 11 precisely at 3:15 PM -- to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

We're doing this in honor of Jordon Dorfler who passed away in 2004 from brain cancer. Jordon and Max got along famously when they were both 4 years old, and I feel sad when I think of all the experiences Jordon missed and the time his family did not get to enjoy with him.

Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when we ask for your support, we're really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
