Help us in the fight against childhood cancer

Will you support us and a great cause? We are getting our heads shaved, and for Susy it will be her last time before she retires.

This year we are doing this in honor of Troy Stemen. Troy is the son of Silas Stemen and the grandson of Betty Stemen both of whom worked for BGSU Dining. Hylas was a student cook’s help during his college years and Betty worked as a cashier and in our accounting office before she retired. You could say this about the Dining family this year.

Troy has High Risk B-acute Lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). He was diagnosed last spring. He told his mother that May Fourth was the day the Force was with him. He said it was the day the doctors discovered his illness and put him on a plan to heal him. Troy has had some rough times but he keeps fighting on the road to remission. STEMEN STRONG! That positive attitude is something to celebrate.

We appreciate your support for this worthy cause.

Thank you!
