Team Avenger got its start in 2012 (known as Team Pork Chop the first year), and we've been going strong ever since. This year, once again, we will assemble to shave our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Read below to see some of the kids we're honoring. We urge you to read their stories, and then please consider how you can help.

On Saturday, March 14, 2015, we will participate in the event at Amalfi's in Lawrenceville, NJ. This will be the seventh straight year that they've opened their doors to us, and they have been tremendous supporters for the cause. Please come join us for a day of fun and goodwill.

This year, we have also started a Facebook page. If you're a member of Facebook, please search for the Team Avenger page. Follow the page for important updates and milestones. From time to time, we'll also be sharing some of the stories of kids and their families that have been affected by childhood cancer.
