I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
This strikes close to home more often than we think. I lost a very close friend, Sarah Riley, to Childhood cancer when I was younger, which had a profound impact on me. I've wanted to participate with St. Baldrick's for several years now, but this last fall our office was rocked by the news that a co-worker's 3 year old daughter had cancer. So, I thought now was the right time to jump in. The more you talk about Childhood Cancer, the more stories you hear. Checkout the "Honored Kid's" profiles.
I love this phrase on the emails I've gotten from St. Baldrick's "Together we can take childhood back from cancer." Can you help? You can join the team to be a shavee or by donating!
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
