Last year I had the honor of being a "shavee" for this St. Baldrick's fundraiser to raise money to help STOP childhood cancers. Yep- that's right! I shaved my head for the cause! Do you know why? Because I have been blessed with 3 healthy children and so many others have not. I could not imagine a life where I had to watch my child suffer day in and day out fighting this horrible disease! If you have a child who has been sick, have known a child that has had cancer, or have been blessed with healthy children like me, it is time to come together to try and stop this disease so no other child has to face what so many do.
