I’m raising money for St. Baldrick’s Foundation, an organization dedicated to funding research to cure childhood cancers.
To make this fun, and to encourage people to really go for it, the highest donor gets to choose my haircut and hair color for the week leading up to my head shave on March 1st at the Go Bald, or Go Home event (more below).
And yes, I will live with whatever ridiculous haircut you pick for me, in public, for a full week before shaving it all off.
Why St. Baldrick’s? Childhood cancer is the #1 disease-related cause of death in kids, yet it receives only a small fraction of cancer research funding. St. Baldrick’s changes that by putting money directly into the most promising research—helping kids live longer, healthier lives.
In part, I’m doing this in honor of my late brother Cody. He did not have childhood cancer, but he raised a buttload of money for St. Baldrick’s in a variety of ways—one of which was getting absolutely wild haircuts in exchange for donations. This feels like the right way to carry that spirit forward.
So donate if you care about kids.
Donate if you just really want to see me with a terrible haircut.
The Go Bald, or Go Home event will be hosted at the Sterling Pig (609 W State St., Media, PA). It’s a great event at a great venue.
