I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Lancaster Pub Crawlers

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! This year we welcomed our twin daughters, Harper & Summer, into the world on St Patrick's Day. Our world was turned upside down when Harper was found to have a heart defect. She was transferred to Hershey and underwent open heart surgery at 6 days old. Thankfully, her defect was a "good one", and she did wonderfully postoperatively. It was an extremely difficult time as a parent, though. As we were finally getting ready to bring her home for the first time at 11 days old, the thought hit me- we are so fortunate! My heart felt heavy for all of the children and parents who were dealing with much more significant issues- such as pediatric cancer- who would have to endure many more difficult situations than we did. I can't even imagine how they get through it. To have to watch their babies go through treatments, countless needle sticks, or even to deal with terminal cancers. We have so much more to learn about cancer- and every donation helps, no matter what the amount! Please help me raise money for this cause so we can perhaps help prevent or treat much more than we already can.
