We all know too many people who have been affected by cancer. Last year I was able to raise over $5,000 for childhood cancer research, and donate over 21" of hair to Locks of Love! Without having as much hair to donate this year, I know it may be a little more difficult to raise as much as I did last year, so I am making a challenge: As soon as I get my goal of $3,000, I will cut my hair into a mullet before shaving again. UPDATE: I have reached my goal, and now have a pink mullet. I reached my personal fundraising goal, but that doesn't mean we don't still need more donations! Please donate if you can, and whether you donate or not, please consider sharing this event with your friends and family!
Losing my father on Christmas Day of 2013 was one of the most difficult times of my life. A year later, and it still does not feel real. I cannot begin to imagine the heartbreak of a parent being told that their child has cancer. Let's do whatever we can to help children and their families fighting this difficult battle to come out victorious!!
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
