I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research

In 2016, I sat in a chair at Docksider’s and "braved the shave" for the first time. I didn’t realize then that a single haircut would lead to a decade-long journey.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of serving on the committee for St. Baldrick’s Bermuda. Having gone from Shavee Recruiter to Organizer, I’ve had the privilege of seeing the incredible bravery of the kids we support and the unwavering generosity of our community.

To celebrate my 10th anniversary with the foundation—and the 25th year of our Bermuda event—I’m stepping back into the "shavee" chair!

The "Double Donation" Plan:

1️⃣ The Length: Before the clippers come out, I’m cutting over 12 inches of hair to donate to Locks of Love.

2️⃣ The Shave: I’m going bald (again!) to raise vital funds for life-saving childhood cancer research.

Why the Mission Matters: Research is a child’s best hope for a cure. St. Baldrick’s has funded over $368 million in childhood cancer research, worldwide. With your support, we can bring hope to even more children and families.

The Local Impact: Our funds also support Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre’s SunSmart Programme, which teaches Bermuda's youth how to stay safe in the sun, building lifelong habits that can save lives.

I’ve set a major fundraising goal to mark this decade of service and would be honored to have your support as we celebrate 25 years. Whether it’s $10 or $100, you are helping make cures possible. Let’s conquer kids’ cancer together!

My Roles:
