I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello.

Life isn’t fair in a lot of ways… Cancer seems to be the least fair thing there is and in a way the most. Cancer doesn’t discriminate. Cancer doesn’t care how old you are or your skin color or your income or your gender. Sounds like it is an equal opportunity disease. And in the same painful stroke, it is the least fair in that it’s one of the toughest things to overcome.

There are a lot of reasons I keep shaving my head for St Baldrick’s every year. Kinda hard to list them all. But the thing is it just comes down to kids. It’s hard for me to see a child not smiling let alone in pain. Cancer kids have to face something they have no idea how to comprehend. They just know they are sick and they have to be strong and brave as they can… just to hopefully be a kid again.

I hope in some small way, I’ve helped that happen by doing this. !? That should be WE! Thank you for your support this year and in all the years past.

I am humbled.
