I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kylee's Wish: sponsored by Enterprise Holdings, Kids Zone, Triad Plastics and IGT

Cancer can strike any of us, but it's particularly tragic when a child is forced to face cancer. Children right here in our community - our friends and neighbors - are battling cancer, and none of our children are truly immune.

As fathers, we have an instinct to protect our children from any harm. And as members of this community, we extend our love to all of its children. Let's protect them.

We want to do something to help, so we're raising money for cancer research. If helping children with cancer isn't incentive enough, several of our Reno Dads will shave their head if we hit our fundraising goal!

Now we need your help. These children need your help. Will you please make a donation of whatever you can afford? $5. $20. $50. $100. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancer.

This year, we've again joined the Kylee's Wish team in the fight against childhood cancer. Reno Dads sat down with team leader, Kehl LeSourd, a Reno dad who inspires us with his story of resilience in the face of some very challenging circumstances. Kehl is the father of Kylee LeSourd (who, at age 7, was diagnosed with brain cancer). Kylee lost her battle with cancer more than 10 years ago, but not before making one final wish – that no other child would have to get cancer again. And her father has sworn to help make that wish come true. You can listen to our interview here: https://renodadsblog.com/2018/02/21/reno-dads-podcast-episode-4-kylees-wish-kehl-lesourd/
