I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research

I would truly love a moment of your time to read this.

Many of you know I’m shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s Foundation — but this is so much more than just shaving my head.

Every shaved head represents hope. Every dollar donated creates momentum. And every contribution made “on my head” helps fund research that literally saves children’s lives.

This journey started as a way to honor my father — to follow in his footsteps and carry forward the compassion and strength he lived by. This year, it means even more. I am shaving my head in honor of two brave kids, Robert and Colleen (their stories are below). I’m also doing it to honor my father… and to celebrate something I once prayed for — being labeled CURED from my own battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Large B-Cell Lymphoma.

Cancer changes you. It humbles you. It makes you painfully aware that so many families are fighting battles they never asked for. And while I was blessed to hear the word “cured,” thousands of children are still in the fight of their lives.

Childhood cancers are not the same as adult cancers. They require different research, different treatments, and dedicated funding — yet childhood cancer research remains dangerously underfunded. That has to change.

Cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death in children. That reality is heartbreaking. But research changes outcomes. Research brings hope. Research saves lives.

If you feel moved, please consider making a donation — no amount is too small. And if donating isn’t possible right now, sharing this message helps more than you know. Awareness leads to support. Support leads to research. Research leads to cures.

I shave my head because I can.

I shave my head because I’m grateful.

I shave my head because these kids deserve every chance.

Let’s stand together. Let’s fight together. Let’s find a cure for childhood cancer — together.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.
