I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Hi, I’m Rae and I’m going to tell you why I’m going to be a shavee. I always try to find a way to help kids who can’t do the things I can do. When my friend Hannah’s cousin was diagnosed with cancer, I wanted to do something to help. After Teddy died (yes his name was Teddy and yes, sadly he died at the age of 9) Hannah’s mom got St. Baldrick’s to come to Nashville. St. Baldrick’s is the perfect opportunity for me to raise money for cancer research and be myself. I’m dedicating my bald head to Hannah, Mimi, and Tom.
The big shave is tomorrow!
I am very thankful for every donation. You guys are the greatest. Be sure check this page again after October 30th to see the after-pictures!
I would love to see all of you at Woodland Pres. Church the day of the shave!
It starts at 11:00 a.m., and I am scheduled to go bald between 12:45 and 1:00 p.m!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
