I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kyra

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kyra

My name is Quinton and this is my 4th year shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures in the Las Vegas Valley Schools. All it takes is 1 person with a vision and a dream.

Last year, I spoke at 3 different schools about St Baldrick's and we had 3 on-site shave events planned - the first in CCSD history in fact. But COVID shut us down 1 day before our first event. I shaved virtually at home since we were unable to hold the school events. I raised $4309 last year but I want to blow that number away.

Well we are back at it. My high school, LVA, will be holding an on-site shave event and I am leading the charge!  I set my goal high to set an example for my peers - $5000! With your help I know I can reach my goal.

Will you please make a donation? Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. These kids are just like me - the only difference is they are fighting for their lives and the research can change their outcome

Thank you so much!
