I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Girls Rule

Every child deserves a childhood. For children diagnosed with cancer that childhood can be severely impacted. They spend time in hospital often away from their families and friends. They can’t ride their bikes, go fishing or ride their ponies, go to Prom or even just hang out with their friends after school and at the weekends. It can also impact healthy siblings many of whom grow up too quickly as so much time and resources are spent on the sick sibling.

Like it or not research costs money and we must fund research any way we can. My daughter, my grandchildren and I (that’s three generations) will be shaving our heads on March 15 to raise money for St Baldricks so that they can continue the search for cures for childhood cancers.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Thank you!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
