I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
The Bald Buddies
When I moved into my home, I was two and there were a bunch of big kids in the neighborhood. I loved to watch them play and sometimes I'd ask if I could play too. Aaron often included me even though I was really little. Four years ago I noticed that Aaron shaved his head. I wondered about it and found out it was for St. Baldrick’s to raise money to support research to cure kids with cancer. I really liked the idea of doing this, and three years ago I started doing it too. Right before this last Christmas, we got an email from Aaron's mom telling us that Aaron had been diagnosed with stage three Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He just finished his third round of chemotherapy. This year his head is already bald, but I've joined his team, "The Bald Buddies" and am raising money in his honor. On March 16th I’m going to shave my head bald and I hope you’ll support kid's cancer research with a donation to St. Baldrick’s. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
