I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I just volunteered at this event last year in honor of my grandmother (Judy Ingram) whom we lost to cancer. My goal is small because I know eveyone is strapped for money this year. But if you can even give a dollar that will help out the cause. If I somehow raise $1500.00 I will shave off all my hair this year. This year I will do this to honor a little girl Layla Grace Marsh, My Uncle Fred and the patients at The Austin Center for Radiation Oncology. Layla has nueroblastoma. We are praying for a miracle but I think Jesus is about to take her home. Below are two links that I use to follow her progress. They give a history and pictures of her.
Update on little Layla 3-17-10
Layla went to play with the angels early this morning. Rest in peace precious Layla. 11/26/2007 - 3/9/2010

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
