I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hayes Homeroom

Let's get this cleared up. I would like to do this and think this is fun. However, we really do have to see the terrible impacts that cancer has had.

Even worse, COVID has taken down cancer research donations and personnel so much that we basically stopped making progress. So, the big thing is: We need to keep these donations going. The kids need us.

One of the terrible things I've learned about chemo and childhood cancer while with St. Baldrick's is that when kids survive cancer, the chemo and radiation can make them up to fifteen times more likely to have harmful diseases/sicknesses when they grow up. Heart disease is incredibly common upon many other worse things in our cancer survivors, and we need to get better treatments than chemo.

So please, if you can, join me in my haste to help develop a better, safer cure for childhood cancer.
