I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Long Island Disc Golf

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Long Island Disc Golf

Last year, Kelly Ann & I completed our first Long Island Disc Golf tournament in the 4th Annual Thrive & Survive Charity Tournament! This event was used as a charity event to raise money for the St. Baldricks Foundation. Together, we achieved our personal donation goal and raised a total of $330 online and an additional $50 in cash donations for a total of $380. We wanted to give a special thank you to all of you who helped us crush our goal in contributing towards LIDG’s fundraising goal. The club also smashed their $5,000 goal last year. We could not have completed our goal and the goal of the club without all of your help both financially and spiritually!

So yes, this year the event will again be taking place the day after my birthday gathering. We will need to arrive at 7:15am for check in at Heckscher State park. To play the events two rounds means we will be walking over 12.5 miles! But we know that is nothing in comparison to what some of these children have to experience and go through every day.

Now we need your help again this year! We are competing again for our second year and striving to not only Thrive & Survive! We hope to raise $500 together so set our goal individual at $250, so donate to either is fine. Will you help us reach our goal by making a donation? No amount is too small. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I'd say to keep us in your prayers so we survive another year, but send them straight from your lips to the man upstairs for the kids!
