I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Baldrick's Bald Bees

Hi! My name is Stella Schmid and I'm 8 years old and a third-grader at Bonner Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada. The reason I want to be a part of St. Baldrick's is because I think that raising money for childhood cancer is very important. I hope that by raising money and awareness by shaving my head that we will all see a day when no child will have to fight cancer. It would mean so much to me if you would support me and this cause. I'm very excited for the big day at McMullen's and I will make sure my mom posts lots of pictures.  I am participating in memory of a precious angel, Ross, who is the grandson of my mom's friend, Karen, and was diagnosed with Mylogenous Leukemia in 2010.  Ross passed away in 2011 at  the age of three and is forever in our hearts.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
