St. Baldrick’s Foundation was born in 1999 by three colleagues who challenge each other on how will you give back in return for your own good fortune in business? Two men noticed one of their colleague’s thick head of hair - the big idea shave their heads for donations to raise funds for kids with cancer. As a result of this St. Baldrick’s foundation in 2015 a new Childhood Cancer Drug was approved by the FDA drastically increases the cure rate for high-risk neuroblastoma patients. It’s only the third approved drug in 20 years made specifically for kids with cancer.
This Summer, I decided to participate with this foundation to raise money for the Childhood Cancer Research. I’m raising money to contribute a bit to this project and I’m shaving my hair. Yes, I am! This is a small way to sacrifice for kids with cancer, to raise money for childhood cancer research. My heart is full of compassion for these children whose going through this devastating disease and for the families of the children who passed.
I need your love and support! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
