I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kutting 4 Kids

EVENT POSTPONED TO SUNDAY MAY 6TH DUE TO THE ICY WEATHER. Bummer. But also means I have more time to keep fundraising and growing my hair out ("20-something me"... look out, here I come)! I've doubled my goal...If together we raised $145 in less than 24 hours, we can for sure do $300 in 21 days. We got this!

So I was just approached by one of my 9th graders to shave my head for kids with cancer. Why not! Apparently word has gotten around quickly and several of my students may be there to watch... little do they know the hair loss will be only mildly traumatic as it no longer looks like the picture of me above! But it sure will be fun nonetheless to be part of a fantastic cause. When I was challenged a day or two ago, it brought back memories of my days with PUSH Physical Theatre and working with Teens Living With Cancer... powerful, moving, and the most phenomenal kids I have ever met in my life.

Being a last minute challenge, getting you to donate even a little toward my cut tomorrow would be great... $1/$5/$10 is still $1/$5/$10. Take 2 minutes...just do it. CLICK GREEN DONATE TAB!

And be sure to read up on the kids I picked to honor with my cut below. Kids with my name, my wife's name, my kids' names... no joke but I started crying adding each. Really hits home when you realize this cancer thing knows no bounds. Thankfully God's love and peace knows no bounds too. Whether you donate or not, pray for these little kiddos and all their families.
