I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Westhaven Warriors

Friends, Please donate . . . We are doing it again – we are shaving our heads to RAISE MONEY for childhood cancer research! Your generosity in the past has been most humbling. Over 175,000 children are diagnosed annually with cancer so we need help and CONTINUE to support them. My family has participated in this event for past several years with much love in honor of our little friends Shane, Ava, and Brooke Haddad and our not so little friends Amy and Eric Haddad. This is a very important fundraiser in my life and the lives of my family. For the past 7 years our family has shaved their heads for Shane and children like him. I am honored to be the emcee of this event and have been privileged to meet the many generous and loving people who come to give of themselves to show their love for others. But this event is not about me. It's not about me growing a full beard and shaving my head from top to bottom. It's not about my wife and children shaving their heads. This event is about Shane, who was diagnosed in January 2010 with multiple brain tumors (pilo mixoid astrocytoma) and left the hospital on his 4th birthday after his first brain surgery and a three week stay and has endured multiple brain surgeries, radiation, and treatments since that time, and the children like him who don't have the chance to decide whether or not they have hair. This event is about RAISING MONEY in an effort to find a cure so that little boys like Shane are given back the chance to decide how long their hair is and how they can live their life to the fullest after their cancer is gone. This event is about RAISING MONEY to find a cure so that our friends Ava, Brooke, Amy, and Eric don't have to continue to endure the struggle and heartache that accompanies their brother's/son's/Shane’s childhood cancer. I want to again thank all of you who supported Shane and the other children and our St. Baldricks team in 2016....the Westhaven Warriors! Your efforts and support helped us raise over $1,300,000 since 2011 for our team and event - the Rocky River Event! Thank you for supporting such a great cause. Kids' cancers are different from adult cancers -- it's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So my family decided to do something about it by RAISING MONEY for cures and WE NEED YOUR HELP! Will you make a donation? There is no time to procrastinate -- these children need every minute of research available and your donation will help further that research. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. You know that this must be done -- donate now to help my friends. You may donate a dollar or a thousand dollars, but please donate something by clicking this link: Please donate . . . Please watch this . . . https://youtu.be/byzG88kqXHw or this . . . https://youtu.be/2E5kL-Hyx7Y . . . and donate. Attached are Before and After Photos. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED LOVE, SUPPORT, AND GENEROSITY. Peace, Grace, Alexander, Isabella, Luciano, Stacy and Aaron AMDG I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
