I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

May 1, 2018 • 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Event: CSUN: Buzz Off Cancer!

At: California State University Northridge

18111 Nordhoff St, , Northridge, CA US

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I have been part of the Love Your Melon story for 3 years now helping children battling cancer. I first saw a St. baldrick's Fundraiser for a 6 year old girl named Lilly in January 2018. Once I saw all the amazing friends and family of this little girl raise funds while donating their hair and shaving it all off I knew I wanted to create this event at CSUN. No child should have to endure this horrible disease and I am making it my mission to do everything I can to help them. Cancer has affected my family in too many ways and I have gained a lot of Angels. Some having battled cancer more than once in their lifetime. 3 years ago I donated my hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths to someone who needed my hair more than I did.

If you can join us at CSUN even for a few minutes please stop by. If you or someone you know wants to donate their hair or shave it off for a good cause please reach out to us! I look forward to meeting you!

Now that you know a little bit about my story I hope you will find it in your heart to help me reach my goal. Lets help make a difference!  Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
