I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

In these increasingly uncertain times I've been amazed by my family and friends who have actively been trying to make our country and world a better place (especially my amazing sister Sara Anderson who is running for Board of Education in her county!). I, on the other hand, have been feeling helpless in wanting to add to this effort, and being that I've toyed with being a shavee for St Baldrick's I figured it's a good way to start! (Thank you Chelsey Drapeau for the inspiration)

What I was unaware of before starting my research into the foundation was that kids' cancers aren't like adult cancer, and they're woefully underfunded by comparison. So I'm happy to give my time, and hair, to a cause that deserves our attention. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Plus, don't you want to see me bald?! For those that don’t know me, I love my hair, it’s always been an expression of my personality. I’m happy to give it up for a cause that deserves our attention. Any amount helps, no matter how small, so please consider helping me raise money for this great cause!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
