I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CHO residents/attendings/friends

As my residency at Children’s Hospital Oakland wraps up, I often think of all the awesome children and families I’ve met along the way. Working with our heme/onc families,  I have been amazed by the resilience of those affected by childhood cancers. They share so much love and light even in the toughest of times. I’m honored to participate as a shavee, to do my little part in giving back some of the light I have received.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
