I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Long School of Medicine Students

Pediatric cancer is near and dear to my heart, as I have had close friends and their families have their life changed drastically by this disease. This year, I decided to do something different about raising money for cures. Cancer persists as the leading cause of death from disease in children, and I am grateful to be a part of the team at UT Health San Antonio.

In the past, I danced my feet off for 12 hours straight with For the Kids (FTK), traveled to Penn State to witness THON and how college students raised over $13 million for pediatric cancer, and helped fundraise thousands of dollars for the UT Kids Foundation. Join me now as I shave my head to raise money and awareness for the St. Baldrick's Foundation as I stand in solidarity for those kids fighting cancer!

Cancer does not stop, and neither should we. Let us come together to fund cancer research and help fight this battle. Please make a donation for the cause!

Thank you.
