I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Carolina Air Care Rally for Rachel

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research and participating in the St. Baldrick's 5K on Sunday, May 6th with my colleagues at UNC Carolina Air Care.  Not only are we raising awareness for childhood cancer, but we are supporting Rachel Clark, who's parents work at UNC CAC and Duke Hospital.  Rachel was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and she is currently in treatment.

Rachel's father, Jason Clark, is one of the main reasons that I have been fortunate to work at Carolina Air Care.  Jason has taught and supported me so much over the past 9 years.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded.  St. Baldrick's makes a difference in the world of pediatric cancer by making large grants toward research.  This research is making a difference and helping children like Rachel.  So, help us fight with Rachel!!  Anything that you can do will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you and remember to please pray for Rachel!
